Welcome to , a group dedicated to users of the Bryce program and the wonderful art they create. In order to keep the running of the group smoothly and happily, I ask that people abide by these few guidelines:
> If you want to join, please click the 'join' button and one of us will let you in. > When submitting, I would kindly ask people to submit into one of the categories, or if none exist for your artwork, tell me and I will create it. I would not ask, but it saves me spending ages sorting artwork!
Hi guys! Sorry I haven't been around for a while- just started college so I've been real busy! Anyway, seeing as I don't see myself being any less busy for a good while, I'm looking for someone to take over the group, so if you feel up to it, just reply to is post! I really want to find someone to do this- all you guys are awesome and it'd be a real shame if this group just went totally inactive. Thanks once again guys and hope your all going good, joHa-ej-pIn (Snow)
It makes no sense to contribute furthermore images to this groups gallery. Each time I offer a new one, there is no reaction and time expires! That's frustating! What's the reason? Is it, they are not good enough and you don't wanna have my images here?
...I had a similar problem and I left them a message about it. All of a sudden they made me an administrator. I didn't want that. I just wanted my art posted. I don't even know what an administrator does.
Have a question for anyone in this group who can answer it... I have looked online for the answer to this but can't find one so I thought I would pop here for the question...
I am using Bryce 7 Pro. How the heck do I make a good smoky effect... Trying to make in bryce the effect of the Olympic Rings from the Opening Ceremony when they spark and light up the sky and you get that almost glowing smoke behind them... Can anyone help me with that? Want to get this done before the end of the Olympics.
I don't know if it's a good idea, smoke is not the strongest point in Bryce. I didn't see the ceremony but I can imagine with your description... I every scenario, to get a nice effect you will need volumetric smoke texture and a very nice lighting, and high render settings (probably TA + soft shadows, if not +IBL) which means your render would take so long with all this, it will NOT be finished before the closing.
